This piece is made from two original Polaroid photos, which have been cut up and soaked until the emulsion containing the image releases from the film. The image is then transferred to paper.

It’s a delicate process - some of the images don’t survive the procedure and are lost forever. Those that make it stand apart from standard photographic prints, with sheen, texture, and imperfections that exude the joy of handmade artwork and the 1/1 nature of each piece.
